Mary Elizabeth

Special challenges have been the story of this girl’s life – she is missing use of her front legs, one of which is fairly non-existent and one which is too small to be useful but she gets around and obviously has for the 8 or so years of her life.

Surrendered to the shelter by her family for only who knows why she was lucky in that a rescuer was at the shelter who contacted us knowing if she went in, she may not get out.

She’s healthy as a little horse – has had all her vaccinations, is heartworm negative and is ready to roll- and to help with that, we’ve ordered her a cart that she will be able to use and get around like she’s never done before – we can’t wait to get it to her – Eddie’s Wheel is currently constructing it and it should be ready very soon.

A very sweet girl – gets along with all the other dogs in the house and of course loves humans.

She needs help to get outside to relieve herself and waits for you to help her with that – once she has her cart, she’ll be able to run to the door like other dogs and tell you she needs to go out.
